The Metaverse is just an idea without real existence in the real world. We can see the Reality of something from two angles one is. True, the second one looks like the real one but is only virtually true.

What is Metaverse?

Metaverse is everything virtual, whether you intend to attend a meeting, contact your friend, or build an avatar. By wearing a smart glass designed with augmented reality, there will be the recording of whatever you see or hear.

Metaverse is considered 3D Virtual World’s Network. It focuses on social connection, science fiction, and futurism. It can otherwise be interpreted as an imaginary iteration of the World Wide Web (WWW) as one world that is virtual. Augmented reality and Virtual headsets are used to facilitate this virtual world. It was an advancement of virtual reality technology exhibited differently at different times. The Science fiction of 1992, titled Snow Crash is two parts of “universe” and “meta.”

Rolling out of Metaverse Version – Facebook!

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg branded itself as Meta platform Inc on 28 October 2021. He thought of capitalizing on what might be the ultimate fate of human availability or human life itself. 

Mark Zuckerburg said on Metaverse as a feeling of presence. For instance, you are right there somewhere with somebody. Social technology makes you dream of being present with someone. You are present somewhere or with somebody without actually being there. To be truly present is an authoritative dream. Mark Zuckerburg took virtual reality (VR) and Augmented reality (AR) a step forward in representing a world. Metaverse has the virtual space that can be simulated in reality.

Metaverse, the previous Facebook, joins the virtual avatars of players, holds conferences, attend a workshop, study, and socialize, including a wide variety of activities that one can do in the real world. But converting the idea into reality, a great amount of committed effort is needed.


Marverse can be accessed through tech gadgets such as computers, phones, headsets, wearable, or wearable headsets. There are no restrictions on a place to use. You can access Marverse even when you are playing games, watching movies or the sky is the limit.

It will appear as if a subsequent world is layered one over the other and that the portrayed one uses Virtual Reality or Actual Reality in virtual space. A good example could be Apple’s Animoji or Snapchats’s Birmoji. What we do in our regular day could be recited in the virtual area of the Metaverse.

Microsoft is one of the Microsoft Metaverse platforms. This big tech is also to enter into the world of the Metaverse. It has even named it Mesh. The Holoportation part of this virtual player is the most fascinating. The users of Microsoft would be able to build and make their holographic presentations to various users.

HoloLens devices offer a better experience with their virtual and augmented realities. A simple device, HoloLens, could give the experience of more advanced technology Holoportation. However, Mesh can be utilized through mobile phones, VR headsets, PCs, and tablets. Microsoft has the main objective of making everyday work more immersive by using Metaverse. Microsoft is going to launch Mesh for teams in 2022.

The VR Company named AltaspaceVR was acquired by Microsoft in 2017, and since then, it has been implementing Metaverse specifics, including meetings and virtual avatars in VR.

Video games

Online video games are the first to adopt Metaverse technology. The virtual world platform of Second Life is the first video game. It incorporated various aspects of social media into the 3D forms, which is an integral feature of a Metaverse.

Robotics launched the Metaverse platform in 2006. It has gained so much recognition among American youngsters that more than 50% of them, coming below sixteen, played it in 2020.

  • Fortnite

Fortnite also plays an active role in the Metaverse world. The Epic Game 2017 was initially launched as an online multiplayer game. Now, it is expanded to a social media space for providing virtual space to perfumers such as Ariana Grande for holding big concerts. 

  • HTC

In 2022, HTC launched the cross platforms Metaverse ecosystem titled DIVERSE, which allowed the connection between virtual worlds reachable by both VR and Non-VR gadgets. They support parental control for children.

The Metaverse is turning into reality at a rate faster than expected. It has entered into games, movies, and the application of real-world navigation. But the worst part of the game is an addiction that must be avoided by all means.
